Inn on the Square

Nice enough, cute and well appointed rooms. But the street noise is unbelievable if youre unfortunate enough to have a room anywhere on the exterior of the old and very poorly (cardboard walls) sound-insulated buildings. It was essentially no quieter than being streetside on the sidewalk. The housekeeping was also hit and miss - my dirty towels were picked up from the floor and draped on the bed but not replaced or removed, trash not emptied, and for the most part nothing else seemed to have been touched or cleaned. Thats fine if the do not disturb sign is up, but if someone is going to enter the room, either do something helpful or dont do anything at all - I dont get it. There nothing terrible about the inn. But I dont think Id stay again.

Very quaint and quiet inn. Located 40 north main st in Falmouth ma. This is a nicely kept fairly updated suite. Some rooms come with an in room jacuzzi tub but I wasn't able to reserve one before those rooms sold out. Our room was clean and tidy. All the expected features, tv, fridge, microwave, king size bed, safe, wifi and even a DVD player if you really wanna bring the kids movies. TV has USB hook up so able to bring streaming device like roku or firestick. Pool is on site and indoors. Though ill go in at 8am when it opens. Restaurant on site as well as local eateries available.

This hotel in the past served its purpose for us. Great location convenient breakfast decent room. However, I just stayed there this past weekend for my birthday and it was horrible! We were kept up from 12-3am from neighbors who were older adults fighting and arguing over what food they were going to order. They woke us up and my infant who wouldnt settle after for a while. I complained the next morning and was told to reach out to Expedia to see what Expedia could do for me and then was talked into staying another night at a discounted rate for a do-over. I was never told that the hotel would not approve a refund through Expedia when I first brought it up and was instead talked into spending more money just for them to turn around and deny a refund through Expedia. Also FYI the $48 hold on your card only 1/2 of that gets returned to you that wasnt expressed either at checkin. Ive stayed in many hotels and have had good experiences and bad and whenever there was a bad experience it was not handled this poorly. Im also very frustrated with the way the property manager just spoke to me.
