O'Connell's staff are extremely helpful, organized, they always accommodate you and work with your schedule, and you are able to pick up extra hours when being informed that there are shifts open. They sent me an invitation HCA council celebration with a nice lunch and gifts. On my 4th months working on the company I just already feel so appreciated, and a lot of good.

I've been working for O'Connell's for 4months now and I love my team here. Everyone loves going the extra mile and lending a hand to one another above all challenges. I have a great manager, and we all are like family. I highly recommend joining our team :)

Iv been helping my neighbor who is an elderly with a number of health issues. He was aproved for home aid and personal care 5 days a week, unfortunately he didnt want strangers in his house, so we managed to convince him for help twice a week with me overseeing the care he has been given. Since it took us several years to convince him to accept the help, we didnt want to break his trust, so iv been allowing his care taker to make mistakes, after a year of very poor services from Occonol. 1. No communication to change schedules, just a stranger apears on difficult times. 2. When complaining on unethical behavior from care takers.( they just removed her from schedule with out finding someone else) and live him without anyone to care for him for weeks at a time. 3. When called to ask if found someone else. Iv been told that because he has a cat non of their employees can do it. 4. I sent them peoples with qualifications to apply for jobs as care takers and they refused saying they are not hiring. 5. Their employees always agrea that they are not ethical with them and their pay is under reasonable. 6. They hire only spanish speakers some who don't know English to only english speaker patients. I can go on forever but i m just gonna leave at that. And my next wouldve be to complain to the commonwealth because this company has a-lot to improve to be certified for home care.

Applied for a job and the lady called me for an interview and was just rude. She sounded like she didnt want to offer me the job anyways. She already had judged me from my application.
