The room itself was good with a great view, the staff were friendly enough, and the location is great.
But there were multiple issues. The air conditioning didn't work the entire time and when asking the front desk they simply said nothing could be done and they could send of a fan. So it was very warm and uncomfortable the entire stay no matter what the thermostat was set at. Internet was also broken the first half of the stay as well.
The view was great, but I couldn't leave my window open because it had clear sunlight that would have heated up the room even further. Just all around unfortunate.

Recently stayed here for a convention, and the staff were truly top notch. Check in, check out and bag check were seamless despite the crowds, and although we were in the section of the hotel where rooms had yet to be updated, the place was spotless and beds were heavenly. Housekeeping also came by daily with fresh towels, linens and water bottles / coffee station refills which is a rarity in our post Covid word. Will be booking this hotel again next time Im in Boston.

Our stay at this Hilton is not satisfactory. (1) Our room doesn't have WiFi, probably because it's at the end of the hallway. I only got a connection when I walked out of the room. (2) I ordered a continental breakfast in the morning (to use the 25 dollar credit), but the fruit plate had moldy blackberries. I told the waiter, and he got me a new plate, but it's not okay for Hilton to serve moldy fruit. (3) Also, the toilet is old and makes a loud noise when flushing, like a car crash sound. Anyhow, the location is good. bed is comfortable. But No WiFi is a very disturbing thing bcs we are from Canada and data roaming is too expensive (I hate you, Bell).

I don't normally leave reviews but I had an interesting experience at this particular Hilton that I had to share.
I specifically booked a room that was a PUR room (room with extra filtration for the air) specified to be on specific higher floors of the hotel. Upon check in I was told that I would be staying on fl. 7 of a hotel that had 26 floors. I knew right away that I was paying a PUR room price but not for a PUR room. So I said that I booked a PUR room and the person helping me said "well at the moment we don't have those room available and they are being worked on, if would like one of those room I could give that to you but you would have to let workers in and out if needed"
Um I said "no" to that because it was myself my 2 girls and their aunt.....so not a chance I was ok with workers coming in and out of my room!
Then they accommodate me with a higher level room (apparently not PUR) but at least a higher floor. We go up start unpacking and no AC, I turn on but not getting cooler, I call front desk and they state that they have a 2-tube system and the hotel is still n Winter Mode so therefore we can either have heat or nothing???
To make my room cooler they could send up a fan and we should open our window.
Ok so this was April 1st of 2024, Spring is here but apparently we are in a weird weather pattern and not quite warm enough to have the AC on so they still need to offer the heat!
I think WHAT IN THE WORLD...! WHO THE HECK THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA IN PLANNING THE HVAC SYSTEM FOR A HOTEL!?!?!?!?
Ok so I was there 2 nights, I had to make the best of it because they could not tell me if I would be charged a cancellation fee or not, and ironically the manager was not in until the day I was checking out.
I asked if anyone else complained of this situation and they said yes we have complaints....
Maybe I never stayed in a hotel in between seasons, maybe I never stayed in a hotel that had a 2-tube system, but I am sorry this was a really uncomfortable 2 nights in this hotel and the whole atmosphere of this particular hotel/ entrance was not inviting at all. the room was a decent modern clean looking style but extremely dark, definitely not enough lighting at all, and yes HOT. To top it off since the window was open in the middle of a city extremely LOUS and NOISY.
Might I suggest if you are looking at this hotel there is a Sheraton across the way that does have AC and a much nicer welcoming entrance and feel.

Our room had a multitude of problems which the front desk knew about yet didnt inform us. Our stay here was like an easter egg hunt, every day we would find out that something was broken. First it was the heating system, our room was incredibly hot (despite the fact that it was 40F outside) and our thermostat is broken. We complained to the front desk and they immediately sent up a fan (its almost as if they knew we would have this problem). Next, it was the wifi. We called and complained again, this time stating that our wifi is completely broken, and the staff said Yeah, its been down for weeks, heres 10,000 points (aka, about $50 that we can only spend at hilton). Sorry They KNEW the wifi was broken, yet still charged us the full $400/night for a suite. Finally, the shower doesnt drain properly. This is a BASIC maintenance issue. Im honestly appalled with the amenities here, and my trust with Hilton has been shattered.
Rooms: just bad
Walkability: good
Food & drinks: WAY overpriced
