We stayed at Studio Allston during our Easter weekend getaway to Boston. If you're not complicated, the hotel is very good. It is located not far from the city center. A Macdonald's just at the back of the hotel as well as a market for shopping. A park with games for children opposite with a large car park, I seem to have seen a footbridge to also access it for pedestrians not far from the hotel. In the room you have a mini refrigerator. The receptionists are kind and welcoming.
We had a small problem with the safe and an employee came very quickly to resolve the problem
Snacks and wines are offered in the afternoon in the lobby. Lemon water available and unlimited also in the same place.
The breakfast is well stocked (muffins, apples, cereals, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, hot and cold drinks and many others...).
The only downside: the heating didn't heat well and made an unpleasant noise which prevented you from hearing the TV or getting a good night's sleep.
We had to turn it off but as a result we were cold at night.

I love the art work throughout the hotel and in the rooms. All staff persons were very helpful and friendly. The food from the restaurant was great and the order-ahead and pick up was very easy. The location works for me because my work is based in the Allston/Brighton area so I gave it 5 stars but if you are looking to get downtown, that might be a little difficult. There is no physical check out process (they let you leave room key in the room or "keep it as a souvenir") which was very convenient. I will definitely stay here again.

Ive been visiting Cambridge for years now and tried many different hotel locations. Most recently, I tried out the Studio Allston Hotel. The location is pristine and makes it super easy to get to the local universities. The lobby is beautiful and a welcomed splash of color - especially in a Boston winter.
Lastly, the service was excellent! At my 4am check in, I was greeted by Mo operating the reception desk. Even at the super late hour, Mo was accommodating, friendly, and helped get us set up quickly into our room.
Thanks for the great service Mo! I look forward to returning on my next trip.
