I had lunch at Coterie at Four Seasons last Saturday. We had been big fans of the Bristol Lounge and the amazing burger they had. We asked our server and she said it was the same burger, it wasnt at all. We ordered the burger medium well and also ordered the escargot. We were going to a 2P show at the Opera House. The food finally came out. The escargot were rubbery and devoid of flavor. The burger was maybe medium rare, not medium well. We had no time to send it back and just ate it. I sent an email directly to the hotel last Sunday. No one even bothered to respond which sums up the entire experience. Horrible overpriced food.

Not the place to go on a budget, but the room and service were over the top and unlike we have ever experienced. Already booked a return trip next year

Pros - Hot chocolate in the evenings and morning coffee were great treats, room cleaning is excellent, Staff is very friendly, hotel is clean and well-maintained, pool is extremely well-maintained. Location is at a wonderful place. The vault with free snacks and sparkling water was great. Room cleaning was great. Thanks for providing umbrellas in rooms. Friendly staff who greet you in the hallways. Cons - swarm of people wearing green at the door who you have to tip just for them to carry bags from car to front-desk. One guy wears headgear with mike acting too sophisticated. Noisy lobby with adjacent bar. Lobby not available sometimes because of gatherings. Doors take around 30 second to close. This could be bad during an emergency. Shower water leaks out into the floor every single time. Garbage bins are too small. Room takes long to cool down. You need the room card every time you go up or down the elevator. Grubhub can't come till the room.

If you are traveling with your kids, this is the best option for the entire family. The level of service was top notch as expected but this particular Boston Four Seasons offers a unique magical experience for children. My 5 yr old and his buddy had the best stay including the treasure hunt around the property and the complimentary snacks at the Vault. Located just in front of the garden and the garden view from the room was such a treat! Who knew our brief trip to Boston would become a trip to remember thanks to Four Seasons Very Important Kid initiative!
