Only good thing about this place is the concierge staff. Leasing office is very unresponsive, and I've had to contact them multiple times just to get something resolved. Recycling chute has only worked once in the 2 years I've lived here. And they do not give you renewal notices on time, while still expecting you to give them a move out notice on time or else they'll charge you. Construction has been going on for more than a year that starts before 7am daily, it doesn't matter which building you're in - there's always something happening outside.

The customer service is horrible! I called the office today because I remembered I had an appt to tour the facilities. The customer service rep was unprofessional. She packed phone etiquette consistently interrupting me and would not allow me to finish my sentence. This was the second time I dealt with unprofessionalism from this particular leading office and quite frankly would rather spend my money with a property that respects all persons (prospective tenants and those who become residents). I would never pay 3000 - 4000 a month for that kind of service for a supposed luxury establishment. I ended up calling Avalon in Brighton and accepted the unit! Go where you are valued and respected before you sign the lease!

I lived in Lantera for a year since January 2022. I gave two reasons for this one star: 1. The neighborhood is super super super noisy. Not only the other apartments next door but also the building next to Lantera, the TRACK at new balance. You may think a sports venue can bring a lot of convenience and benefits. NO. It's just a nightclub and concert venue where you can hear a bunch of people yelling and screaming at 1:00 am in the morning. You can always hear somebody having a party at night in this building :( And the road construction had continued for months in the morning. The rehearsal of the concert will keep you waking up at 7:00 am in the morning in a super bad way. 2. One elevator broke down for nearly half a year. Can you imagine spending so much time just waiting for the elevator in a high-level apartment? Hopefully it is good to use right now.

one of the two elevators servicing 18 floors has been broken for going on 7 months and they refuse to do anything about it the tiny pool is constantly being closed/reopened during the summer, every week we get at least one email about this... management and maintenance are rude, slow to respond and defensive about major repairs that need to be made to individual apartments due to flooding... yes, the flooding wasn't management's fault, but they're uncommunicative and uncooperative with tenants and then act like they're going above and beyond when they eventually get around to dealing with you... the flooding occurred in early April 2022, apartment repairs were made by end of May 2022 (last day) after insisting that we needed repairs finalized in order to utilize the space that we're paying a lot of money for while they're doing repairs, maintenance will kind of come in and out of the apartment and then just leave without letting you know when or if they'll be back... quality of everything in the building is poor they gave us our renewal offer less than 60 days before the end of the lease, then gave us less than 2 weeks to decide whether to stay or go... that's not enough time to 1) look for a new apartment 2) find something that works for the commutes of 2 people 3) sign and get approval for a new lease and 4) arrange movers etc.... just really inconsiderate, lazy and irresponsible behavior on Lantera's part
