The Flats at 131

Moved here from Denver and was thought it was going to be alot better for how much more the cost of living is out here. Super limited amenities, the gym is tinyyyy. Not worth using. The cost goes up almost 200 to 300 a month per year. For what you get, it's not worth it. Neighbors are super friendly, well most. Staff is okay but some seem not friendly. You can walk in the office and they act like your a bother, no even hellos. Its awkward. Some staff is nice but very few. Staff/maintanance will park so residents can't get out. I had this happen 2x and had to call the main office who was going to call a tow because it says no parking. When your commuting this becomes a biggggg problem. You can hear everything outside. The train is super loud even though I'm on the back side of the building a block away. Airplanes, sirens, people outside. HVAC system is also super loud and you can hear every door open and close in the hallways. Is a fun hip and growing area which is a nice part of being there. Cute farmers market in the park next door and the residence don't pirate your packages which is a plus. Just that traffic is horrible. Takes a out 25 minutes to go about 5 miles. It works for a place but it's just really basic.

the flats or as those who have lived there since the building opened call it the floods at 131 Rantoul Street, in Beverly Massachusetts has had THREE MAJOR FLOODS FROM FROZEN WATER MAIN BREAKS FROM THE ROOF DOWN TO GROUND LEVEL (5 FLOORS) and DESTROYING EVERYTHING to the ground and RENDERING DOZENS OF APARTMENTS UNLIVABLE to reside in UNTIL remediated. Thus, it is impossible to stop MOLD FROM GROWING when there's been that much water poured into a structure of 72 units three times at 131 Rantoul Street, and at "Link 480"  Rantoul Street Beverly, MA. BEST OF LUCK TO ANYONE WHO DECIDES TO MOVE INTO A CONTAMINATED PETRI DISH OF A RESIDENTIAL BUILDING IN BEVERLY MA. Be  advised thos happened three times, under 4 years of the building opening in june of 2017 the building is a petri dish of contaminants and especially mold spores. i am suffering with mold poisoning from living there for over 5  years, this, after i complained of my illnesses, open the case with the attorney general and h.u.d. in washington, d.c. involved to request they do something to help me, and in the meantime beverly crossing and dolan property management carried out a very sneaky eviction with a $48 notice to quit for a 60-year-old disabled man with a companion animal and was forced out and the lock was changed before i could remove all of my possessions. i was evicted by force by beverly crossing and doleben property management of who put a 60-year-old disabled person with his companion cat on the street.  beverly crossing and dolben property management at 99 and 116 rantoul street are nefarious, devious, and underhanded by accepti "quid pro quo" from previous hateful landlords. there is nothing legitimate about their business. if you want crime corruption and contaminants in your atmosphere then by all means move in to any of beverly crossings properties on rantoul street especially the floods at 1:31 rantoul and link 480 near burger king at gloucester crossing of which had a flood bigger than the three major floods in under 4 years at 131 rantoul street put together.or, if you want peace and quiet enjoyment of your home then run, don't walk, run in the opposite direction for overpriced cheaply built alleged luxury living of which is not nothing but false advertisement and breaches of warranty of habitability....!

These apartments are decent. Expensive but decent. My big complaint is that every morning I have to flip my breaker in order to have a cup of coffee from my Kuerig. I had maintenance come and I was told that, thats how its going to be and its something with the new fuses they installed. I find this hard to believe and very annoying since practically everyone uses these coffee makers these days. At the cost of 2k a month this is unacceptable and very frustrating to think that everyday for the next year I have to do this. Additionally, the water pressure in the shower is extremely lacking. Im told I can purchase a new shower head and the maintenance people will install it. I don't think I should have to spend more money than I already pay but maybe I will because its bad. Also, not even sure it would help. Bottom line is the apartments are nice and some have balconies. If you don't care about the two things I mentioned then its a good place to live near everything walkable.
