Tom and his teams are very professional, very honest and very sincere to do their work.
They changed my burner and my oil tank. Also, they have maintained the heating system.
I will ask them to install the ductless AC system with heat pump now.

I've been a VERY satisfied Prendergast customer since the spring of 2010 when as a new homeowner, I called seeking help because my gas burner wasn't working. Tom Prendergast spent 15 minutes on the phone trying to help me troubleshoot. I had called another company before and the guy came out and charged $150 (in 2010!) to tell me I accidentally switched off the emergency shut off on the basement stairs.
I signed up for a yearly gas burner service contract with Prendergast and not only me, but eventually all my fellow condo association residents did too. The service for which we receive a discount (the tech comes out annually to clean and check our gas burners) includes "no heat" calls; discounts on parts and labor, etc. --- it is WELL WORTH the cost.
Last year, on June 4th, I had Tom and his colleagues install a Mitsubishi heat pump --- which provides air conditioning and electric heat much more efficiently than gas. I have waited a year to write a review to track the costs (the a/c and its comfort literally COST LESS than when I had 7 fans going continually to limited effect in that the indoor temp reached the upper 80s!). I LOVE the a/c but do not abuse it. It's been a beautiful summer and I keep my many windows open. But when I need a/c it's there.
The heat also works beautifully, quickly. I can control them temp in each room. I own a 854 sq foot condo. So I tend to use the main two larger units and rarely need the smaller bedroom unit. But during an intensely cold snap in the winter, the bedroom unit came in handy. Tom's employees are as conscientious as he is. A number have worked for him for years. I spent about $16,800 - $875 for a Mass Save credit (received a check). I was very comfortable and did not ONCE use the gas burner. Tom and his colleagues advised me to keep it in case of super cold times. I will do so for a few more years but will probably end of getting rid of it. Eventually for lots of reasons, I hope to have a gas free home.
