Gervais were the only HVAC company to answer the phone at 7pm on a Sunday when our furnace went out. They were extremely helpful and kind in troubleshooting. When I couldn't fix it, they sent out a technician, Josh, the next morning. Josh was so kind and helpful and took the time to explain everything that was wrong and how he was fixing it. Josh not only fixed our main issue but took care of some other minor issues as well. Throughout the whole process Gervais had excellent communication and were always punctual. Pricing was transparent and provided upfront.

Update 4/3/24 to Gervais Response. To clarify Gervais's rude response! Never once has a third party contractor touched any hybrid heat pump equipment installed by Gervais. We had a third party contractor and certified plumber/electrician take care of the leaking oil boiler pipes that were flooding our basement, which Gervais could care less about even though it was in the contract to service the old oil boiler for proper secondary backup heat. Secondly, National Grid found the meter box installed by Gervais to be smoldering and and a severe fire hazard upon random inspection in 2023. Oh and actually to that point Gervais never had the system inspected in the first place by National Grid!! Very bad management and deceitful practices done by Gervais. Also wanted to point out that the house is insulated now and all interior windows are insulated with film and system still works horribly. It will be 40-42 Degrees outside and barely maintain 66-67 Degrees inside when set at 75 Degrees, PATHETIC. THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK AND SHIFT BLAME TO THE CUSTOMER!! Horrible since first use in October 2022. Had Lenox Hybrid heat pump unit installed in July 2022 and the heating system does not work below 40 degrees outside. Multiple times they left us with no heat during Halloween, thanksgiving and Christmas. At one point it was 49 in the house, no heat comes out of vents and at best its Luke warm. They came out at least 10 times in a matter of 4 -5 months and claimed its working normally and then next day nothing, no heat at all. They claimed at install time when sales person Anthony was out in late spring 2022 that our backup oil furnace should be fine for a couple of years and then that crapped out at the same time we attempted to first use our new system in October 2022. They claimed its because our house is older but they knew about everything before they even started the job. Technicians were friendly but management at Gervais is a joke. Stay away from them.
