Modern Heating & A/C

Charged me 300 dollars for a 180 dollar board and 4 hours labor to install it.

Having had a Plumber/Heating Company for near 20 yrs when they apparently went out of business suddenly we had to find someone when the fan died on our furnace. My husband looked online and saw great ratings for Modern Heating and A/C and we liked they were local so we called and heard back within 10 minutes!! When my husband explained the problem (which happened 3 years ago as well), it's only a 5 yr old system but not a common one and finding the part last time took a long time. This being a Friday, I was prepared for a cold weekend, but they came over right away and checked things out, called us within 2 hours and said they got the part and would be out the next morning, which was a Saturday no less and fix it! I was so impressed with their professionalism, how quickly they got back to us and coming out of a Saturday, some places could have really jacked up the rates, they didn't! Happy to say, we have a new go to Company now!

I would recommend this company to anyone who is having issues with your heating or cooling system 100%. Chris is responsive, honest, and flexible with hours when you are in a pinch. I was two days into owning a new home, so money was obviously a concern when my furnace was already giving me problems.* At my request*, every attempt was made to avoid what ended up being the inevitable full furnace replacement (it was just under 30 yrs old). When it was clear I needed the replacement, Modern had my house comfortable to live in again in 3 days (Ask around , thats amazing turn around especially when winter is around the corner ) and more importantly was fair enough to not rake me over the coals on price especially considering the labor and parts I was already on the hook for - If you are here searching for a fair and honest company that will help you quickly, then you just found it!

Chris was able to get a tech to my home within 72 hrs, other area companies were saying 2 weeks! The techs quickly figured out the issue and was affordably repaired that day. My central air is cooling off my home again! I will be using Modern from now on for all my heating and cooling repairs. Service: A/C system repair

Although I did not end up using the services of Modern Heating & A/C, I'd like to thank the owner, Chris, for being so responsive and willing to come out on a weekend. We talked about the possible problems my boiler could be having, and possible solutions, and he was willing to see what he could do (unlike some other people I spoke to). AND he answers the phone, and responds to texts! When I look for someone to do home repairs, I read reviews like these, and I can see that this company provides great service. I'm glad to know that they are there if I need them!
