Selling your home is never easy... selling your mom's home when you don't live locally is even more challenging. I was lucky enough to have Colleen Zajac as my realtor when I sold my mom's house in Stamford recently. Colleen was understanding of the situation, made sure that my mother was comfortable with the process, grouped the showings together, and was able to navigate the multiple issues that arose throughout the long and complicated process. This happened to be a case of whatever could go wrong, would... but thanks to Colleen's local knowledge and extensive contacts, we were able to get things taken care of in the end. Colleen initiated all of these fixes on my behalf - I would have been lost without her help. Colleen didn't stop after the sale either. She followed up and made sure that the post-closing issues were addressed. She is a true professional as well as a compassionate and caring person.
