Mount Royal Inn

This place is great! My husband and I work in western MA every Friday-Saturday and don't always know where we will be staying, so we usually book rooms last minute depending on where we finish the job. We found the Mount Royal Inn in Adams, MA and decided to book here based on the high ratings and affordable rooms. Check in was quick and easy. The only complaint we have was the remote control for the tv didn't work well. The beds were super comfortable and the water pressure in the shower pressure was strong! The room was very clean and we enjoyed the beautiful mountain/mine views in the morning. I would recommend this motel (with lots of delivery food options) to anyone looking for an affordable (and family owned) place to crash in western MA!

We have stayed here for a night and the owner was super friendly. The room was also clean and dog friendly.

Pleasantly surprised of the cleanliness and appearance of rooms. Wasn't expecting it to be better than Hilton but surely the beds were nicer and the peace and quiet was perefect. It's a Lil off the beaten path in a small quaint town. Wish they had a breakfast option but still enjoyed my stay. When in the area I will stay again. The managers were helpful and attentive and care about their job more than life itself. They made sure I was comfortable and didn't hesitate to let me know they were available should I need anything. Appreciated their hospitality more than they can imagine..its very rare in the north east.

I asked for a downstairs room but the lady at desk said there wasnt any because of the people staying weekly but she gave the person behind me in line a downstairs room. I asked why and she said the computer picked the rooms which I dont believe. My room #11 stunk bad. It smelled like an ashtray. I asked for a non smoking room. She said it was the carpet. I walked outside and a couple was smoking pot. This place in my opinion is a disgusting dump.

Now that there is a new owner and managment the place has really started to clean up rather well after some hard work. They're friendly and attentive but definitely do not allow any of the same riffraff that used to frequent when this place was a different type of establishment. Make note of the check-in and check out times since it's a Mom and Pop style, meaning they have to sleep sometimes too and it works best on a set schedule for everyone.
