The rooms are very nice and are chemical sensitive friendly for people with chemical sensitive and allergy. The air is very clean and filtered properly. No paint used on the walls only all natural. Products are all natural.

We recently stayed in the Topia Inn newly branded as The Trail. It was so nice and steps from downtown Adams MA and all the stores and restaurants. We had a great time and Kate our host was so welcoming! Rooms: Great artsy rooms !

This place exceeded expectations. Great for an easy getaway weekend with lots of activities nearby, hiking (Mt Greylock), biking (rail trail) and culture (MassMOCA). There is a good restaurant (Firehouse Cafe) and breakfast/coffee (Daily Grind) place in the cute downtown street right behind the inn to walk to. Pay attention to the email they send the day of your arrival, because it has all the codes and instructions to get in. Touch the black part of the key pad to make the numbers illuminate. There is no staff permanently on site. Which is great for privacy and mellow. But it is different in that you have to figure stuff out yourself - more of an airbnb scene than a country inn level of service. But there is a young sparkly woman across the street (Kate?) who comes by to check on you occasionally who is really nice and can give you advise if you cant figure out stuff. She also knows the area and can help you (she told me about some falls nearby the locals swim at). I think the for help in the email and in the room calls her and she pops right over. Im giving a 4 instead of a 5 because there is some ongoing construction/renovation currently upstairs and the area in the immediate vicinity of the place is a little less elegant than the inn itself. You need to park in a bar parking lot next door which is a little awkward. Oh, and the art and decor throughout the inn is very classy. Bottom line is this is a surprisingly convenient place for an easy getaway for some low key, fun activities to connect in private with somebody special.
