Baltimore County Budget and Finance Office

Worst customer service Ive ever experienced with a municipality. Rude and unwilling to help. Couldnt even get out a full sentence before being told to figure it out. Thats why Im calling "to figure it out". Do not run a business in this county, if you do, good luck.

I recently had an incredibly frustrating experience at the Baltimore County Office of Budget and Finance Transfer and Recordation desk. I cannot stress enough how unprofessional this office was in handling my transaction. From start to finish, it was a series of mishaps, miscommunications, and unnecessary back and forth that could have easily been avoided with proper attention and competence. First and foremost, the staff at this office seemed completely incapable of reading documents correctly. Despite submitting all the necessary paperwork, they continuously overlooked crucial details, resulting in unnecessary delays and additional trips to the office. It was both time-consuming and incredibly frustrating to have to correct their mistakes repeatedly. Furthermore, I found the lack of comprehensive information provided by the staff to be utterly unacceptable. Instead of clearly explaining all the requirements and processes involved, I was constantly left in the dark, having to chase after missing details. It was as if the staff were deliberately withholding information, causing unnecessary confusion and wasted effort on my part. The constant back and forth was by far the most exasperating aspect of dealing with this office. Instead of communicating all the necessary information at once, I was subjected to multiple rounds of follow-up questions and requests for additional documents. This not only wasted my time but also highlighted the inefficiency and lack of organization within the office. In conclusion, I cannot recommend the Baltimore County Office of Budget and Finance Transfer and Recordation desk based on my experience. The unprofessionalism displayed by the staff, their failure to read documents correctly, and their inability to provide comprehensive information were major contributors to my frustration. This office needs significant improvements in its communication, attention to detail, and overall professionalism to better serve its customers.

Got a parking ticket, tried to pay it online, but the site said they couldn't find a record of my ticket. Send the county an email asking them why I couldn't pay online, never got a reply. Website said I could pay in person here but didn't list any hours, so I drove up (not a short drive) on my day off and found it was closed. Probably gonna get a late fee cuz the county I pay taxes for won't let me pay my parking ticket. Thanks a lot guys!
