image The amount of misdeliveries I get from mail carriers is absolutely insane. I regularly get my neighbors mail and have had packages never delivered

image Awful service. No one ever picks up the phone. They marked my package as "addressee moved" and never delivered even though I have not moved and the address was correct.

image It seems the postal "workers" here have gone completely buck-wild stealing everything they can. A few weeks ago I had 2 packages 'misdelivered' to the wrong address (wrong street AND wrong house number - not even close). When I went by to pick them up, they were not at the location. The homeowner was out at the time but said that he hadn't gotten any packages. And since you can't even see his front door from the street I doubt anyone from the street stole them.
So now, today, I just had a package delivered to my front door. I scooped it up as soon as the postman left, and saw that it had obviously been slit open with a knife or sharp object. One of the two items that was supposed to be inside was missing, and the box that was still there inside was slit at the same place as the mailing package (as was the protective wrapping around the box inside). A blatant case of theft that could only have occurred in the postal system. It seems this place now only employs thieves - who also get paid a fat salary from our tax dollars!
EARLIER:
They have now lost/misplaced 100% of my packages for the past 3 months. I can no longer send out anything from my mailbox because it is certain to disappear. Sometimes, after filing a formal complaint, it will magically "appear" at their facility a week later, as if I had just mailed it. Sometimes it never reappears at all and I just end up losing everything. I run a business where I guarantee fast delivery, so obviously this destroys my reputation. I now have to bring all my packages in person to a distant post office every single day. I recently made the mistake of handing a package directly to my local mail carrier who I happened to see on my way to the post office - big mistake, because of course that package went missing as well. It is either incompetence, laziness, or outright theft, but in any case there is ZERO reliability here.

image I wish I could give no stars. The courier that services the condo complex I unfortunately live in is the rudest person I have ever encountered that works for USPS. I lost my mailbox key over a month ago and due to my work schedule, was not able to get to the New Hampshire Ave post office to make a new purchase until last week. I had already had an issue with this courier so I did not leave a note on my mailbox to leave packages at my door because this courier has already proven to be lazy and not put packages at my door in the first place. Come to find out, we were supposed to receive new mailbox keys anyway and I still had to come out of pocket $35, in this economy, pathetic. Anyway, when I got home that night after going to the post office on 11/20, the courier was still in front of building blocking the parking up front. I took the opportunity to ask her if she could give me any mail or packages because the new key would not be ready till the end of the week and I would not have been able to pick it up until the following Monday, once again because of my schedule. She was dismissive, rude and claimed my packages and mail were piling up for "months", when she could've easily delivered the packages to my door, but whatever. She also informed me she sent my mail back to the New Hampshire Ave location, fine. I let it go but then two hours later, I received notification that a package was delivered to the front desk (we do not have one!!!). Fast forward to 11/27, I pick up my key and my mail which included two smaller packages. The larger package that was delivered last Monday was not included in the pile. I returned home and immediately checked the mail. No package return note, no notes at all. NO sign of a very large package being delivered. I returned to New Hampshire whom informed me they could not help as this location is responsible for my mail and packages. This location does not answer the phone at all. I have already filed a few complaints and hopefully something can be done because there is no reason people's hard earned money should be unaccounted for like this. Absolute nonsense.
