    Staff was friendly and helpful with any questions. Perfectly located from an ungodly amount of places to eat and a short walk to the metro. This is the FIRST hotel I've been to with shower water pressure like a fire hose which felt amazing after a night of dancing at the Fillmore. Only downside to the shower was the random moments of hot water loss like everyone on the floor decided to take a shower at the same time. The only real downside to the rooms is they desperately need sound proofing. Could hear the neighbors as soon as we walked into the room and throughout the night. Other than that, it's become my preferred hotel to stay at when in the DC area.

    The beds in the double tree silver spring in MD are absolutely terrible! I find myself on a school field trip not able to sleep at all because I am laying on a ROCK at 2:30 AM! You would think with how exhausted I am from only getting 4 hours of sleep the night before I could sleep regardless, but I absolutely cannot sleep an ounce. I was so relieved when we got our stay information that we would be in a Hilton because I knew it would be a decent stay, but I was beyond wrong. On top on the bed being horrible the pillows are a joke! They flatten immediately upon laying your head down on them. I have them stacked and folded and they have still flattened. I have never had such a horrible stay with a Hilton and I exclusively stay with Hilton when I travel to ensure consistency on the happiness of the stay. I might as well be in a holiday inn with the comfort I currently have and I have to stay here and cannot leave due to a school trip. If I was on my own I would be down at the desk checking out in the middle of the night from how uncomfortable this bed is! Do better Hilton, live up to your name! Noteworthy details: Beds SUCK!

    First let me say that I CANNOT believe that Im about to write this review about a Hilton Hotel. I even gave them the same 3-5 business days they gave me for my incidentals to be refunded to make this right before I wrote this review. Lets get into it! It was last year sometime that I saw a viral video about an African-American woman saying what an awful stay she had a had a Hilton hotel and I just couldnt relateuntil now. She said she reported this and nothing was done. My story begins with The hotel staff charging me four different times for incidentals for total of $150 in addition to the room. When I brought this to their attention Tammy cut me off and spoke to me in a condescending and belittling tone telling me there was no way that I was charged four times for incidentals when Im holding the phone in my hand looking at four charges on my account. I couldnt get a word in. When I called Hilton Guest Services to file a complaint, I was only reassured that all of my money for incidentals would be returned. The point that I am making is why would my card be charged four times for incidentals! The hotel sent an email saying the money is always refunded within 3-5 business days. This Hotel didnt know if while on this trip if I had other money or not when holding $150 in incidentals when I was told at check in by an Asian woman that incidentals were only $50. This hotel also scanned my ID upon arrival so everyone involved knew that I was a guest of color and therefore continuously dismissed my concerns. During my stay I requested that the shower gel pump be refilled that was mounted inside the shower and no one ever came. The housekeeper began knocking on doors from 9:30-10:45 reminding everyone to leave. I chose the Hilton for a Chick-fil-a guest experience but what I got was the Motel 6. No one did anything substantial to try to make this right or convince me that customers actually matter.
