The Independent Realty team is amazing! I was a first time buyer and Madlin, Gael, and Paula were great! Madlin was always available to answer my many questions and she is extremely knowledgeable about all the ins and outs of the industry. Gael and Paula were also very encouraging and helpful and their advice as we toured different properties was extremely helpful. From day 1 until the day I closed, I knew Independent Realty was on my side. I highly recommend Madlin Mahdawi and her team of professionals!

My experience with this realty was very unprofessional and they did not represent me well. I purchased my first home about a month ago and my realtor Denisse Rodriguez gave me the Agent/Buyer Consent from 1 week before settlement; which in fact that shouldve been given to me when we began the process being that it stated that independent realty was a dual agency (meaning they represent both parties the buyer and the seller). While negotiating a roofing issue my realtor would say comments like you cant have everything. And we need money and more money to negotiate. And wouldnt look for my best interest and would be very pushy for me to make a quick decision when negotiating and even to the point of her and her boss screaming at me trying to force me to make a decision that second. I forgot to mention, the Home was appraised for less and Denisse came up with numbers that she said oh if we offer $2,500 more youll be paying the same thing. Which wasnt the case. I had to fight on my own to get some money back for closing costs. Lastly, my realtor didnt even show up for settlement and I had to drive up to the new home to get the keys myself. All in all, be careful and mindful working with them. They are very sneaky.
