I have Dealt with a lot of home nursing companies. I have 3 Family members that I take care of! This home nursing company was the worst by far! Very unprofessional! Double talked ! Rude ! And basically did nothing for my mom whom they were contracted for! They were there for three visits! I was told they were gonna be there for 4 to 5 weeks! Was told that I could have nursing , occupational therapy and a tech if needed! I Told them my mother was in need of nursing and a tech being completely bedridden! Nursing was barely there and the tech never showed up as promise! When I addressed my concerns, I was called by the Director of Amedisys , only at my request! For her to be rude talk over me and have every excuse in the book ,for why my mother only had three visits from the nurse and none from the tech! this was a terrible experience! It only made my life harder ,at an already difficult time dealing with a loved one who is sick! I have been in customer service for over 10 years ! and know you cannot please everyone all of the time ! I normally do not complain or write reviews! but this review I could not let go! I would never ever recommend this company to anyone!

As a professional in senior care/ assisted living i work with Amedisys on a regular basis. The home health nurses are professional and caring, their therapists are helpful and kind and their administration is clear and complete. Residents have nothing but positive reports for their staff. I am happy to partner with Amedisys.
