I found Elio on TaskRabbit, & hired him to do some electrical work. He was in time, polite, & checked out a couple things, & fixed one. There was still some work to do, so I contacted him to finish up, & an appointment was set. As some personal issues came up, I texted to cancel, & see if he would keep an afternoon the following week open for me for a couple days. He was friendly & responsive & said he could block off a full afternoon, but could block off a couple hours. During this conversation, I decided I wanted to have Elio come the next afternoon as planned, to get these tasks done, & in my reply, asked him if he could still come the next day as originally planned. It was about 9p, so when he didnt reply, I wasnt surprised. The next morning I texted again to find out whether or not he was coming, with no reply. I tried again 2 days later. As of today, there has been no response. I find this lack of response unprofessional & rude. I wouldve understood if he just couldnt do it. But not to respond at allI guess it is his youth. 5 stars for his first visit. 0 stars for his subsequent lack of responsiveness, for ghosting me.
