I had a routine eye exam with Dr. Mallika Patel today. She is extremely caring, thorough and attentive. She had read my entire history to evaluate any connections to my eye health. Unfortunately, I needed glasses, however, I had a pleasant experience selecting glasses with Daniel Barbosa in the optical department. He was very helpful in selecting the correct glasses that suited me. It was a pleasant experience and I found the perfect glasses!

My initial experience was great and I love my new glasses. But Im frustrated that I was billed incorrectly when I purchased my frames and lenses. I left the store thinking I was paid in full, but nope! I received another $70 bill six weeks later because all of the options I asked for at point of purchase werent added to the original bill.

I recently had an appointment to get my eyes examined and order glasses. There was very little waiting and I found Dr Mallika Patel to be very knowledgeable, professional and helpful. I also had an excellent experience with Vision Essentials when ordering glasses. Erwin Escobar was excellent in helping me to order just the right glasses. I would highly recommend these experiences with this Kaiser Permanente option in Gaithersburg, MD.
