Thank you so much! My 21 year old daughter broke down in Frederick, MD., halfway through her 1,000 mile moving trip with her entire life's possessions packed into her Jeep. The local Jeep dealership told her the car needed a $5,000 transmission repair, which would have devastated her financially and spiritually. As a desperate alternative, she went across the street to U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer to rent a small truck and tow bar so she could finish the trip and fix the car later. These good people were extremely helpful. Not only did they offer to give her a second opinion on the Jeep at no charge, they figured out that the transmission may not be as dead as the dealership stated. With genuine concern for my daughter's safety, they recommended not performing the transmission repair now, but towing it to the final destination and doing the work there. This advice cost them some business, but was the right and moral thing to do. Then they helped her load the Jeep to the tow bar and showed her how to operate the truck (you know...using mirrors and backing up...stuff that is not intuitive to young adults). I cannot thank you folks enough. You helped out my daughter when she deeply needed honesty and security. I am in your debt.
