Not sure how this company has 5 stars, but I have been very, very frustrated with finding someone else to redo work that this company was supposed to have completed when I bought my home. They sent me a receipt saying that they had fixed my dishwater door to open and close properly without leaking, supposedly fixed my roof and it was structurally sound and watertight, re-attached siding and stated that it was secure. My dishwater door was never fixed. It still does not close properly. The roof started leaking IMMEDIATELY! I was so shocked. Not only did it leak immediately, but there was a clear inch wide hole in my roof allowing water to pour in during storms, that cost me more money trying to fix the things the water leaked on, including my circuit breaker box. The shingles they were supposed to have fixed, were NOT correctly done. I had to hire another roofing company to do exactly what Lane Building Services were paid to do. My siding flew off again a month after it was supposedly fixed. It has been sitting in my living room since, with a portion of the front of my house being opened, with no siding on it. I would NOT recommend this company for work. These are simple things that should have been done right the first time around. Response: Mr Lane, I absolutely have the correct company. I do not operate my email under my full name nor would you know my name if I told you because you were working with the person making the plans for the house, who also lied about the work that was done. I would never leave a review without receipts, to which I have from your business stating what all you completed. What I hope you consider is making sure your work is complete and correct before you send someone a confirmation of work that was supposedly was done. Clearly, the work was not done correctly if I had these issues. If my review was upsetting to read, please know that it was even more unpleasant to actually deal with as a first time homebuyer.

Initially, we used Lane Building Services to remodel our bathroom. which was original to the house. It had to be gutted and reconfigured in order to make the most of our space. Mr. Lane was professional and always looked for ways to help cut costs. Alex, who did the tile work, is a true artist. So much so, that we asked him to redo our fireplace. Both projects were completed with precision and attention to detail. LBS also replaced our deck, built a pergola and a screened in room....with COVID-19, that room allowed us to be outside with friends, even during the colder months. We also added stairs from the screened in room, added a walkway and a terraced planter box, designed by Mr. Lane, as well as poured a concrete pad under the deck. Doing so has changed the entire look of back of our house. Along the way, there have been small issues, but Mr. Lane always addressed any concern we might have, in a timely manner. We highly recommend this company and have several mor projects we hope to have them complete., Services: Paint indoors, Painting, Drywall repair, Tile work installation, Remodeling, Drywall installation, Fan installation

Huge fan of Lane Building Services! They have completed three separate commercial jobs for us. Two jobs were complete renovations. They are ridiculously fast and do an excellent job. Very communicative throughout the process and friendly. We'll be using them for all our future commercial jobs.

Have used Lane Bldg Services multiple times & extremely happy with them! They remodeled our entire main level, including a kitchen gutting, new bathroom, hardwood floors, a new multi-level deck/screened in porch re-do, etc!! They were always super professional, helpful, quality work. Just after our kitchen/main level remodel started, our son ended up in Hopkins and managing our child's serious illness & a major remodel was only possible due to Gord Lane. At our house, he is referred to as "St. Gord". Would not hesitate to hire Lane Building Services for any remodel projects. Excellent. We've used Lane Building Services for a bathroom re-do and the conversion of an unfinished basement to a beautiful office/bathroom/storage space. Friendly, highly skilled, reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
