Worked with a agent Gerald Butler to rent 2603 Hamlin street NE, which was an awful experience. Him and the landlord used tactics such as coming in the home when I was not there trying to poison my food, tried to have me committed to St. Elizabeth where him and the landlord both work. The landlord and him ignored request to fix things in the home, as far as gas leaking in the home. Would not recommend dealing with him or the landlord. Did not pay the agent until she complained to management.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend agent James Lusby. He was my buyers agent in summer 2021. Not only did he almost cause the deal to fall through in July when losing his temper with my agent, but I had to talk him down like a child to calm him down. I was hoping that was the last of it but then the title company was suddenly switched two weeks before closing. Then we didnt have a time and location for closing until 3 hours beforehand because he had gone on vacation the week before; I had to change my schedule twice the day of closing to make up for his lack of planning or it wouldnt have happened, he said. I politely expressed my frustration as I had to close on my new house the next day & the buyers and I (my friends) had been waiting over a week to hear back from him. He blamed others and weaseled his way out of accountability. I havent seen anything like this in over a decade in a professional atmosphere. I would not trust James Lusby (or his colleague Rosa) with your home sale or purchase. He was consistently unresponsive, inconsiderate, and will do shady things behind your back instead of simply being upfront and having the integrity to say something to your face. I gave him many chances and, sadly, he failed each time.
