Janie and Jack

I just had the BEST customer service experience from Jackie at this location. I was looking for some very specific items and Jackie went above and beyond to make sure I got what I needed before I left the store. She was so incredibly kind and friendly - Just a wonderful experience all around. I loved it!!!! Thank you, Jackie, for all your help today. You are an exemplary employee and Janie and Jack is lucky to have you!!!

I went into the store at Arundel Mill Mall, Maryland, and purchased $168 of clothing. After checking out, I was asked do you want a bag? and I responded yes. The cashier stated then that would be 10 cents. I asked her how could the store charge me 10 cents for a bag to carry my items when I just spent $168 in the store. Another customer got involved and stated those are the rules. I then responded and told that customer, to mind her business because I wasn't talking to her. The cashier then stated, don't be rude to my customer. I then asked her do I not have a right to respond and am I not a customer. I felt because I was a black woman and the other customer was white she was treated differently than I was as she did not purchase any items but was just browsing. I will never go back to your store, but do believe a customer should not be charged for a bag to carry the items purchased.

Janie & Jack has the sweetest baby clothes. I always get baby shower clothes there because they are so special. The recipient is always so happy. And the gift box tops off the warm wishes with a touch of class. My favorite childrens store. The help there is so friendly and ready to help.
