I've been a fan of Aparnaz for a while, especially the one in Adams Morgan, so I was thrilled to find out they opened another location in Bethesda, which is much closer to me now. I usually get my eyebrows done by API or Karuna, who are incredibly sweet and always do an amazing job.
However, my recent experience with Ms. K for brow and face threading was less than ideal.
Unfortunately, the session did not align with the high standards I had come to expect from Aparnaz. The threading technique used by Ms. K was unexpectedly aggressive, resulting in discomfort and, quite worryingly, bleeding a few hours post-treatment. This was a first for me, especially considering the gentle and precise methods I've experienced with API and Karuna.
Additionally, Ms. K's commentary during the session was pretty snarky. She pointed out issues with my "hair" that had never been mentioned by other specialists at Aparnaz, which left me feeling somewhat puzzled and disheartened.
I still love the place, just pick your tech right.

Kay did an absolute phenomenal job with my eyebrows. I went to Aparnaz Lash and Brow Boutique a week ago and had to remember to do a review because Kay did amazing. She was very thorough and gentle and left my eyebrows flawless. Theyve never looked better!
