Trish is absolutely amazing! She went way out of her way to help me today, I thought I was going to lose all my things (bit of bad luck recently) but she was willing to help me and was super sweet in the process. Highly recommend this location in particular you can most definitely trust that your belongings will be safe and sound here.

My advice, do not store here unless you only need it for a month or two. I first rented two large units for about 2 months at the Portland Maine Riverside location, that was with no issues. It was Life Storage at that point. The location is fairly clean and staff is friendly. Then I move most of my stuff out and down sized to a 10 x 10 unit. Approximately a month later Extra Space took over. A month or two later they wanted to increase my rent by about 50%. At that point I moved more stuff out and downsized to a 5 x 5 closet for $42. About 2 months later I get a postcard to inform me that my rate is going up to $84, double what I was paying!! I was very mad so I checked on line and they were offering the same unit for $35. What a scam. As you can guess I removed the rest of my belongings and will never do business there again. They reel you in with a low rate, then double it after a few months. Go elsewhere.
