It is not a mount in fact. It is a hill. But provide a decent view of the beach and cove. Not bad. Easy trail

Maine is not all rocky shore like I thought, wow what a beach with a view and all beautiful flat sand and a island you can reach at low tide to boot!! Yes I will be back

Everything including the river has changed Restrooms: Restrooms are clean Dog-friendliness: No dogs allowed from April 1st to October

Noce easy walk trail head is not marked so use google maps to find. Round trip is maybe 1 mile. Very nice views of Casco bay

Great sunset photography. The island looks small but is actually 10 acres. The northern cliffs are stunning.

The whole of Vinalhaven is beautiful. The basin was too. A gorgeous walk. Even with the cold November winds.

Called to get information about a wedding and the women I spoke with was exceptionally condescending and not helpful at all

Worked a wedding here and it's superb as a destination for a wedding

Outstanding example of coastal fortifications of Maine. The start of the trail is steep. No signage. Very enjoyable trek up the hill to see 1860's fortifications.

Great camp sites and plenty of space for everyone.
