I called late at night for an emergency repair. They came right on time the next day very early! Was quick to find the issue and very informative on the matter. Price is fair for an emergency service, and was less then I was stressing it would be. Wasnt a complete repair as its beyond what I imagined but I have the information needed to move forward. We were happy with QuikServe under the older ownership and have used them for several years for heating/plumbing repairs at our house in Lewiston. This fall our relatively-new natural gas system has stopped working several times. They charged $250+ to come out and push the "reset" button on the boiler, which is fine and got it running again. Happy to pay that and know that the heat and hot water are good to go. However, the system stopped working again a month later, and they wanted to charge the same fee. Understandably we wondered if they would actually repair anything or just push the "reset" button again, so the tenant who lives there pushed the button instead and saved us the cost. A few weeks after that, QuikServe returned to do routine maintenance/cleaning on the heat system for another $250+. Again, great - let's hope things are finally fixed for good! But nope, one week later, the system has stopped working again. Instead of returning to fix the problem or see why the system has yet again stopped working less than a week after their most recent service visit, QuikServe's new owner sent me a text saying she no longer wants to continue doing business with us. The new owners don't have a sense of obligation to their existing customers and don't stand by their work. Call another company.
