Testa's Bar & Grill

We visited last fall and Testa's was hands down the best place we dined at. The staff was prompt and friendly, the food was perfect, and we even had a great view from our table on the 2nd floor.

I have nothing positive to say about this place. It may have gotten a higher rating, but it was FREEZING in the dining room. Almost everybody had their winter coat and hat on. Service was mediocre at best and it took forever to get the check. My chicken sandwich was pretty bland and the kettle chips are SO SALTY. Not that u am returning to Maine any time soon but save your time and wait for another restaurant.

Cool place. We visited during the last week that they are open for the seasonso we may not have experienced them at their best. Nice bar area and it looks like it is a popular spot for dinner. Breakfast was underwhelming but it could have been because they are at the end of the season.

Enjoyed an excellent meal at Testas! I started with a grilled shrimp, spinach and kale caeser salad..my entre was the blackened haddock tacos..both were exceptionally prepared and aesthetically pleasing! Also got a Bar Harbor blueberry wheat ale..which was very tasty!! My seat was on the second floor, overlooking Frenchmans Bay..my server was very personable and attentive! Overall, it was a fine dining experience..would definitely return next year!!
