Highbrook Motel

We stayed here for four nights on our recent trip to Acadia. Check in and virtually everything is done remotely with your phone and super easy. The room was absolutely spotless and clean. The rooms are simple but clean and cozy, we loved it! Breakfast gets delivered to you every morning and was good. I would definitely stay here again!

This quaint little motel is AWESOME!!! It is charmingly vintage & EXTRAORDINARILY CLEAN. The owners are very concerned about your quality of stay here. They have this down to a science - check in is super easy, breakfast and anything you need can be requested from your phone. The breakfast was great and always on time - delivered to your door!! Cookies, ice and drinks always available to guests as well. Parking by your room in a quiet area. Reminds us of simpler, nicer times. Love this place!! (The Island tram stops at the corner - so just a few steps )

Rooms: The rooms are ultra clean, spacious and comfortable. The beds were comfy with quality linens. Coffee and Tea, along with a refrigerator are provided. Quality internet connection! Breakfast was complimentary and was delivered to our room at a self designated time. We stayed there for three night and would definitely stay again should we come to Bar Harbor again. Nearby activities: Many hiking trails, cycling and shopping are located close by. We drove to Jordans Pond trail and the Ocean Path trail. Both were wonderful! Walkability: We walked to the main town, about a mile each way. Just enough walking to work off dinner. Lovely safe area to walk and explore, Food & drinks: Drinks both water, soda, coffee and tea and snacks are complementary and available 24 hours. Noteworthy details: For those who enjoy hometown atmosphere, private and simple but quality luxury, look no further. Adam and staff are both friendly and helpful.

Honestly one of the best hotels Ive ever stayed. Just everything about it - location, service, cleanliness. The organization of ordering breakfast/linens was so smooth. Breakfast itself was a lifesaver for a quick start to our day and enough food to pack along for snacks throughout our day! Bed was very comfortable as well. And close access to ice machine/water/drinks, even popcorn!! Our first visit to Acadia was magical thanks to the Highbrook Motel :)

My girlfriend and I just stayed at the Highbrook Motel for our 5 day trip to Bar Harbor, Maine. Online check-in was very easy and efficient. The location is an easy 20 minute walk to downtown Bar Harbor and barely a 10 minute drive to Acadia National Park. Our room was EXTRAORDINARILY clean. While it is an older building, and styled as such, everything was very well taken care of and you can tell somebody puts a lot of effort into it. The complimentary breakfast was excellent and always showed up on time (within a minute or two.) We ordered every day! The breakfast sandwich, oatmeal, and hard boiled eggs were our favorites! Also, ordering food and room supplies was very easy and all done from your phone. There are a million things that we could talk about, but we have not one bad thing to say about the place. You can really tell that everybody involved takes pride in every detail. It felt so welcoming, like a small home away from home. We will definitely be staying here on our next adventure to Maine. Thanks Highbrook for helping make our trip a breeze, and thanks for the hospitality!
