They were helpful in appointments, and guide me to the right place to go. Most important is be patient while waiting to see my doctor.

Slow slow slow, absolutely NO excuse to wait over an hour in a room for a scheduled appointment, absolutely none. They'd make you reschedule if you're so much as five minutes late, or even stop seeing you....talk about hypocrisy.

The first messup was an annoyance. After my daughters yearly checkup we were told to come back for a booster shot. We were billed for a full second checkup, more than $150, because they weighed her before giving her the shot. This makes it an exam. Okay, fine, be careful and get her boosters at the pharmacy. Fine. My kid has special needs and needs assistance from the state. To get her official diagnosis, I called the office and asked for an appointment with a specialist. They said they had one in-office and scheduled an appointment. I called off work, took my daughter out of school, and went in only for the doctor to look at us in confusion and say why did they schedule you with me? Im not a specialist? and reschedule us with the specialist the next week. I was then billed for TWO doctors visits. They charged us the full doctors visit fee ($160 after insurance) for nothing but the inconvenience of being told, by a doctor, that we would need to reschedule. The specialist confirmed her diagnosis. Only problem is, they wont send her records out to the state. She is about to lose her place on a waiting list we have been on for TWO YEARS because Northern Light cant be bothered to send copies of her medical records. We have called and called and called and begged and begged and begged but all Northern Light can do is promise to put in a request to records- which promptly vanishes without a trace. This is the third branch of Northern Light that we have dealt with and every single one of them is a dystopian horrorshow. The record keeping, billing, and medical care offices are completely separate and unable to communicate with each other, so any tiny issue (like accidentally getting billed twice because you were accidentally scheduled wrong) becomes a months-long drawn-out ordeal involving phone call after phone call after phone call to people with no power to help you. Oh, your hold time before being connected will be 15-20 minutes minimum. (I was previously turned down for disability because a different Northern Light office would not send my medical records to the disability office until I paid out of pocket for a lawyer to subpeona them.) Once was a mistake, three times is a deliberate business practice. Avoid every branch of Northern Light if you value your time, your money, or your sanity.
