I have been going to Shaylee for years and dont trust anyone else with my hair. The staff is fun and welcoming. It is a treat for me to come in that I look forward to every time. Do not go here if you have curly or textured hair. I read on the website that they can cut curly hair, but this proved not to be true. As soon as I walked in, I was getting weird looks from all the staff. The woman who was supposed to cut my hair was especially sheepish. Keep in mind, I had written in that my hair was curly when booking the appointment, so it shouldn't have been a surprise. I wish she had just told me she didn't know how to cut curly hair, but instead she used heat to straighten my hair and only then could cut it. Luckily, curly hair is fairly forgiving, so it didn't change much. But I definitely didn't get the usual shaping/styling that I'm used to with most other salons even though that's what I paid for. It's been a while since I went here and I'm only now getting around to leaving a review, so maybe things have changed. But I wouldn't risk it if I were you.

Ive been seeing Cait for over two years and she is the absolute best. I always leave the salon happy with my hair. She takes the time to listen to what I want and goes above and beyond to deliver! The atmosphere of the salon is so friendly and welcoming! Highly recommend the girls at Bangor Hair Co.

I scheduled an appointment over a week ago.. I arrived to be told that the stylist I booked with was not there nor was she taking new appointments. I am from out of town and am very disappointed that I was not able to get service when I waited over a week to be seen. I did not reschedule. I think it us bad business.
