This place is a nightmare beware when booking. I am very upset, it's the night before my booking, we fly out in the morning. I went to check my reservations and confirm flights. I had a 4 night booking at Hotel Vinache but the hotel cancelled my booking last minute! We are set to fly out in the morning and I had to find last minute reservations because they are completely booked, it's been a nightmare. Now I'm having to pay more than $150 over what had budgeted for the new accomodations. I contacted the booking company and it seems they over booked the hotel or made new bookings for more thank I had paid and my reservation was cancelled litteraly the night before check in. It would have been a nightmare to have arrived and to be informed of this. Glad I checked but shame on them for doing this. Beware, you don't want this to happen to you.

This was a horrible stay... First was not told the hotel was under renovation. The first night the room we stayed in was next to the mechanical room so we heard the generator all night sounding like a truck. The heater was not working in the room, was moved the next morning to another room which was better but the heat didn't work well in that room the unit would cut off entirely. I got stuck on the elevator for about 10-15 min. These was the slowest elevator I've ever seen. I expected continental breakfast and was given a bag breakfast. The problem I had was they intentionally didn't advertise renovation and I had canceled another hotel to stay at the Vinache but never again. Brittany the desk supervisor was very professional and I was told I would be refunded back a % of my stay haven't received that yet.

Yes, the hotel is under renovations. However, it is not in areas that are affected by guest. The rooms are clean and cozy. Only a few blocks from Bourbon st. The staff is helpful and friendly.

This is the worst hotel stay I have ever had. Not only was it not disclosed that it would be under construction but EVERYTHING about the visit (except Titus at check in) was HORRIBLE. I was told I would have to ask for housekeeping, which I did. And did not receive. We stayed for three nights and even after asking again on the second day I never received housekeeping. Which is not acceptable given the rates the hotel runs at and it should have been administered. Bathroom door did not lock despite being a newly renovated floor. There was no switch to the light in the bathroom ceiling, only the vanity. The breakfast provided was deplorable. It was a white paper bag with a bottle of orange juice and a vending machine style pastry like you would get a honey bun out of a machine. My boyfriend and I were extremely dissatisfied with our visit. We had so many other options of places to stay in but wanted to give this place a shot and I feel like we were robbed. Aside from having a place to lay our heads at night this was highway robbery. We have LOVED visiting the Hotel Cambria in the business district on our prior stays to NOLA which has been flawlessly accommodating. We should have gone there again instead. They always provide housekeeping and dont have to be repeatedly asked for basic services that still go unanswered. If you want to waste your money and feel ripped off, book this place.
