Comfort Inn Marrero - New Orleans West

Hotel staff ware so kind and good hospitality! Yet the room was hard to say it was good It was clean, but little bit smelled like some kind of chemical sent ( for me it doesnt matter) and because of thin wall, loud noise of next door was really annoying (yelling and made loud noise)I felt little bit unsafe.

This is not a safe place for solo female travelers. I stayed there one night before a cruise. That night I couldnt sleep. People were on the hallways until 4am. (Drunk?) people yelled, smashed doors and I think I heard gunshots. When I opened the door to see whats going on I heard loud noises of people having sex. Not a problem- but do you need to leave your door open? I perceived the atmosphere as very aggressive. I thought that my car might have been a safer place for me to sleep. The next day I addressed it to the manager. He was not helpful. Nor understanding. I picked this place because I thought it was safe. It didnt feel like that all night. The rooms are ok, breakfast as well (for that price). Area is not good.

Let's start..I have hotel phobia. This hotel did not disappoint.the rooms was clean,the restroom made me feel comfortable enough to let my kids use it lol.it was clean.had a fresh clean smell inside the rooms as well. My family and I really enjoyed our visit there. I definitely recommend and will be booking here from now on. I had no complaints or Gross moments at all. We loved it here. Stood on da second floor.oh.. Its one elevator here but it worked.
