image Had to redo this negative review after calming down. So Jan I go into the front office to see when my lease was up because I had just taken a new job. Was told I had to pay till March so I thought she was saying I had to pay the month of March. I put March 31st as my move out date. Fast forward I havent been living here this whole time and paying my rent. Pay March but I come back to finish cleaning everything out. Notice of eviction on my door. I was like whats this pull up my account full month rent taken out. Walk down to talk to them about it was told I put in my 60 day notice late and had to go on a month to month basis which had a huge up charge. Why wouldnt they say that two months ago? A big difference in saying you have to pay for March and you have to pay March plus $500. When we figure out that I thought she said I had to pay for March she says well I thought you had a reason to want to have your move out date later. She said I asked you know that means you have to pay March and I remember her saying that but she had already told me I was going to have to pay March so I didnt know why she was repeating it but I said unless I can put the move out date sooner and not pay for March and she say, no you have to pay for March. In reality I had to pay for March 1st and 2nd but didnt say oh its just till the 2nd but I saw you put till the 31st we would have to charge you month to month for those extra days. So the other manger telling me about this additional charge says well you can pay it or we take it out of your deposit and anything your deposit doesnt cover I will put into collections. At first I was thinking she was just threatening me to be a complete jerk because a months rent for a deposit of course its going to cover it. Then later my mind goes back to signing the lease and remember them saying not all of the charges are a part of the deposit and it just so happens to come up to the first months rent like full deposit would. Now I realize just how shady they are, they want more than to keep my deposit lol. No notice that my renewal coming up with exact dates so it couldnt be misunderstood. So renters beware, I have rented a lot of apartments because I move around for work. I have never experienced anything close to this nonsense. I will warn everyone that I find is coming to the area that there is a reason for the low reviews and saying the management changes is just a way to try and deflect from those poor reviews. Never late in a year of living here and was threatened with eviction and collections from a misunderstanding of when I needed to be out by.

image I don't like that management forces residents to pay $85 for Cox. I haven't had a cable subscription since 2009.
Cox is the worst internet provider. They cap the upload speed to 10 Mbps, which is too slow for me as I work from home. You have to purchase the upgrades and they max out at 100 Mbps.
AT&T offers true fiber with upload speeds of 300 Mbps for $60 and has better uptime. Not sure why they wouldn't allow residents to choose their service provider.
Unfortunately, they had my $425 application fee by the time I realized this nonsense. Hopefully, they reconsider and cancel Cox, otherwise, I'm not renewing.
Both gyms need to be renovated. The floors and much of the equipment are worn. The benches are torn. The treadmills & ellipticals are old and have a bunch of wires hanging from them. There's even a 30-pin iPod connector...
The location is a plus as it's next to the mall, movie theater, and a trail. It's also one of the few properties with attached garages. My maintenance issues were addressed quickly.
