El Cid Apartments

"El CID apartments" living are great, surprisingly affordable!!!! I am here for the past 1 year and found no issue on whatsoever. The new Manager, Odessa, is an angel. She listen to every tenant and try her level best to find right solution for you. LSU Students will find surprisingly low rent for 1 bed/1 bath apartments here, i.e. $735. Apartments are in good conditions. And now there are some specials running where you can stay 1 month free in 12 month lease contracts. Just unbelievable!!! Right next to this building students are paying over $1300 + parking fee. International students of LSU, this is the jackpot to save money and have peace of mind to live in campus area and in independent units. My rating: 5/5.

Never had a problem with anything overy stay. The apartment managers were not so responsive though and they were too slow to handle the problems. Also, make sure you take a photo of everything when you move in because they will charge you if apartment is damaged and you didnt report

*EDIT 12/28/2021* Its been 5 months since my fianc moved out and they have not sent his security deposit. The El CID is in violation of Louisiana state law by not returning the security deposit within 30 days of moving out. We notified them of this via email, but Amy Pierre (property manager) refused to acknowledge this point, meaning they are knowingly BREAKING the law. *original review * The apartments are extremely old, and the AC does not work properly. My fiance constantly had outages in the hot LA summers, as well as constant puddles on the carpet, leading to sogginess and mildew. They blamed on not having a maintenance person on staff to not deal with this. How are you going to manage an apartment complex without a maintenance person? Also they DO NOT return your security deposit. Finally, the 5-star review below is from the El Cid Property Manager, which is a conflict of interest--I encourage everyone to report that review.
