Rose Hill Inn

We loved our stay last June and have another stay planned in a few months. The rooms are magnificent, breakfast is wonderful, and it's walking distance to restaurants and some shops. Rooms: Absolutely beautiful! Safety: Very safe area! Walkability: Walking distance to downtown.

My husband surprised me for our 22nd wedding anniversary with a 2 night stay at this beautiful, historic home. Not only is it situated around other historic homes but its around the corner from quaint shops, restaurants & breathtaking horse farms. Theres plenty to see and do. My favorite part is the owners have poured their heart & soul into this piece of Kentucky history which lives on thanks to them. Just to hear them tell all about the home and how they came to be the owners is worth hearing! So you must go! And do ask them about the original Rose Hill Inn sign. : )

Located in the heart of bourbon and horse country, Rose Hill Inn serves as the perfect spot to rest your head when visiting Kentucky. We had the BEST time there during our stay. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. So much thought has clearly gone into the design and furnishings, making sure as a guest you feel welcome from the first moment you walk in. The owners, Robin and Rachel, were wonderful. Robin gave us the best advice on local eateries, the whole family was kind and considerate, and boy can they cook! The breakfasts were to die for. I would return in a heartbeat. A true gem!! Rooms: Comfortable, clean, with great amenities for your stay. Nearby activities: Not far from Lexington and Louisville, short drive to many distilleries, and in a picturesque farmland area. Safety: Felt very safe with their special key-code system. Food & drinks: Amazing breakfast!! Noteworthy details: On the national register of historic places.

Highly recommend this BnB for a couples getaway!!! We stayed in The Library Suite and absolutely loved it! The owners thought of everything... The king-size bed was very comfortable. Nice walk-in shower too!! There was a small refrigerator stocked with bottled water. Several snacks like chips, cookies, and peanut butter crackers were in a basket for us as well. There was also a Keurig machine with pods of coffee, but neither one of us drink coffee. Some rooms that our friends stayed in had pods of hot chocolate. Just guess our room didn't get restocked. LOL The breakfast was delicious! They sent a text the night before asking for our meal choice and time for serving. Very nice!! Check it out! Walkability: The location of the house was in walking distance to quite a few shops in downtown Versailles.
