This hotel is absolutely amazing. Everything was nice and clean and look great. Front desk host Dara was great with helping me and telling me where I needed to go! I recommend this hotel.

Food & drinks: As free breakfasts go in this kind of hotel, it was exceptionally delicious. Some of the best chafing dish scrambled eggs I have had anywhere. One weekday supervisor of said feast was asked if the Fox "news" channel could be changed, and her body language was the very definition of passive-aggressive. She then changed the channel to the Mexican version of Fox. Otherwise, there's a pizza restaurant that has some of the best welded art we've seen anywhere, a Lakeview restaurant in Burnside that had very good food, several good Mexican joints, and a pretty good Chinese buffet (and many other shuttered Chinese places.) Noteworthy details: No one should go to southeast Kentucky expecting walkability, or even much in the way of cute neighborhoods. It's pretty much all about the lake in these parts, with churches walking distance apart. We had unexpectedly bad weather, so, no boating for us. We spent one rainy Saturday morning at a flea market, where there were several vendors of long guns, and were creeped out by customers carrying their new purchases, unwrapped (and presumably unloaded) through the building. This is as politically red a place as I have ever been except maybe Texarkana. The food and junkyards in front of people's houses reflect that.
