Norton Prompt Care at Walgreens

Got in and out for what I needed. They were helpful to me.

Avoid this location unless youve met your deductible. Fine with the care I received (hence the 2 stars), but was over-coded for an in-network visit and now have a ~$300 bill for minor tests. Went in for flu-like symptoms and sat in waiting area for approx. 15 minutes. Once in the room, they checked vitals and administered a flu/covid and strep test. The visit lasted less than 30 minutes, yet I was coded for a 60 minute visit. I called Norton and they sent it to a review department who determined the documentation supports the charge, which isnt surprising considering the location that over-coded the visit provided the documentation

Be sure you CALL AHEAD to see if they have the vaccines you want. After scheduling online we arrived promptly for appointments, RSV for my wife and Covid-19 for me. Instead of calling us ahead of time, the TWO persons on duty both told us that they didnt have either vaccine in stock. SO, instead of simply picking up the phone and making a simple call to let us know that ahead of time, both of them waited till we arrived to tell us. We had to get ready, get in the car, drive to the Walgreens (a 15 minute drive), and walk to the prompt care station. Such amazingly poor service. I didnt get the names of the two attendants on duty, but it was on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2023. In short - dont expect a call from a Norton Prompt Care center if they cant provide you a service you scheduled online. CALL AHEAD.
