This was such a lovely experience! Ive been wanting to do this for a while and I saw an ad on ig for this studio/home. Rudy was very welcoming and explained the history of tintypes and the whole process of how tinypes work. I went alone and I felt very comfortable. I def would recommend! I booked online and it was a discounted price. If youre thinking of getting some pictures done, DO IT!

Rudy is amazing. My sister and I had such a special time visiting Louisville and getting our tintypes taken. We will definitely be back and hope youll visit too

Rudy is the man! He gave us a relaxed overview on the history of tintype photography and made the actual photoshoot as approachable as could be.
I can't recommend this studio enough, you're going to have fun.

Amazing experience! We've followed River City Tintype on social media for years and have always wanted to get a tintype completed. When we had the opportunity to do so at a local pop-up, it was beyond our expectations. Rudy shared his expertise about the process, made us feel so comfortable and produced an incredible photo that we'll cherish for years to come. So glad we were able to do so and looking forward to booking another session in the future at their studio!

After years of wanting a tintype family photograph, the opportunity finally presented itself. And what better photographer to work with than Rudy! He was amazing to work with, super knowledgeable and a very cool guy, and Susanna was absolutely lovely as well. The experience was better than we expected and well cherish this photo for the rest of time. Cant thank you guys enough!
