I hate submitting bad reviews, even when my experience wasn’t the best, but I felt obligated on this occasion because it involved my child. My daughter is special needs and I’m very careful with scheduling these types of appt. I purposely picked a day where they had a late appt and on a Sunday. When I looked at the slots, they were pretty much open from 330 to 530. So I took a 430 slot. I get there and there are only two families. One had already had there pics taken and the other one was currently in the process of taken there’s. There were three employees. Two in the session that was currently being done, the other in helping the other family select a package. I got there five minutes til 430. I waited until 540 and they still hadn’t called my daughter. I understand that these things can take time, but at the very least they could’ve told us that it would be a long wait. I live 3 mins away. I could’ve taken her home and come back once they were ready. I asked about the wait and kept being told that they would be done soon. Now, even after all this, I’m a patient person. However the part that really upset me was that after about 40 mins my daughter started to get restless. This is normal for two year olds, let alone a two year old with special needs. She kept running around, trying to get into the room where they were taking pics. When I would stop her she would cry and scream. I did my best to try and calm her but it was clear that she was tired of waiting around. Instead of being understanding, the one gentleman kept giving her dirty looks and sighing loudly. At one point my daughter ran into the room and almost got into the way of one of the shots. I of course apologized but again got dirty looks from the staff. At that point I decided to take her outside and since the staff was busy I told one of the other parents there to let her know that I was outside. The family left and I waited five minutes more and still no one came outside to get us. I saw one of the workers by the desk so I started to call to let them know, the phone rang for several minutes and no one picked up. Finally after the third time calling, they finally picked up. But by then I was over this place so I told them that I was canceling and why to which she replied. Sorry. After the silence I hung up. This business primary involves children! If you don’t have the patience then don’t do this type of job. Also if you know that they’re will be a wait, even with an appt- warm people so they know what to expect and can plan accordingly. Also invest in a better waiting area for kids. Put a tv with some cartoons or something. Will never come back. I have always gone to JCpenny but I was trying to save some money. I won’t make that mistake again.
