Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Louisville East

I have stayed at different Microtel Inns and have had good experiences but this one unfortunately was not great. The mattress was horrible. There were divots on both sides so I slept in the middle. No phone plug ins and the lighting was horrible. The hotel was built in the 90s and it hasnt been updated since. And it seemed as if there were a lot of homeless staying at the hotels in that area didnt feel real safe. Safety: Homeless folks everywhere.

The reviews earlier appeared harsh. I took a chance and this is what was found. The rooms are dated, but clean. The clientele that the hotel catered to is of low character. The smoke and smell of marijuana is so pervasive that the THC oils were in pillow, blankets etc. This was present in the non- smoking rooms. The rooms in the picture are only on the first floor and I kind of think for just viewing when you ask to see a room. Bottom line: a polished cow pie is still a cow pie. The staff were awesome. I kind of feel sorry for them.

Absolutely disgusting. The room in the pictures are not even close to the nasty, stained on everything, dirty floor, messed up toilet seat b.s. I am currently stuck in. Who can in their right mind can actually let someone stay here. This place should be closed down. Or at least have to show actual pictures. False advertisement at it's best.

Every hallway in the hotel reeked of marijuana smoke. They had a room freshener spraying at the front desk to cover up smell as we checked in. Would definitely not recommend this hotel.

The absolute worst! Customer service from apparent management was horrible. Night desk staff was pleasant which was the only positive! The rooms are not in good condition, not very clean at all. The hallways stink and are extremely dirty! Also found multiple doors to be open late at night that had non working card readers. Overall, complete ICK!!!!! Others nearby are nicer and in very close price range!
