TownePlace Suites by Marriott Louisville Downtown

This is a nice newly built hotel. I really like the hotel and the service. I highly recommend this site. The amenities here are nice and they have a nice bar as well.

Overall it was a good experience. However it sounded like people were drag racing outside our window till about 3am.

I had stayed here for three days off of an employee rate, travelling from Texas to see a band I love while also touring Louisville-area Kentucky. I don't get to travel super often but if I ever come back to Kentucky for whatever reason, this is the hotel I'm picking for my stay. Super late check-in due to connecting flights? Not a problem at all! Breakfast? For free, with plenty of options including a waffle maker! Said options rotate daily by the way. Sense of security? You'll need your key card not only to enter the building after you check in, but also to use the elevators which gives a wonderful feeling of safety! The hotel is a nice central hub too for everything downtown, with all the main sights such as the Louisville Slugger Museum, Kentucky Science Museum, 4th Street, and the riverside all within walking distance to name a few things. If you're going anywhere major outside of downtown, such as the Mega Caverns or the zoo, it's not that far of an Uber ride. I didn't stay in the room for too long during my stay but legitimately, it feels like a studio apartment in the best way. Fridge with a freezer, stovetop, multiple appliances at your disposal, and a nice big comfy bed with a shade for the window to block out the sun. tl;dr, great hotel with great service, thanks for making a birthday trip awesome!
