    Would be great if your crews would quit parking in front of mailboxes strictly as convenience for yourself. Its not my problem the job site doesnt have necessary parking for you, but it is your problem preventing the delivery of my mail. Had this company as an HOA provider too. Typical crook behavior. Raise rates annually while cutting but on services.

    I own a condo property that was managed by DellaValle for several years. For the first several years, I had no issues with them or really any reason to reach out. Last Fall, there was a leak in the unit above mine that came into my unit that created some minor damage. DellaValle gave me the run around about repairing it saying that we were responsible to contact the other owner to repair it on our own, then saying no, they were going to repair it themselves. I went back and forth with them for several weeks about scheduling the repairs that they claimed they were doing. After a month of back and forth phone calls, I was told no, they were not actually going to repair it I was responsible for contacting the other tenant to pay for repairs and do them on our own. Which would have been fine if we were told that from the beginning instead of giving me the run around which led to me stringing on my tenants. The reason I'm writing this review though, is that I just found out that DellaValle conducted an assessment to our HOA and did not send me any of the communication or billing info. I'm assuming they sent to my old address at the condo, which I had moved out of and sent them my new contact info (I had to because I also had to share with them my tenant's info.) Regardless, I went months not paying this HOA assessment which incurred late fees and lawyer fees. They never called to ask me about payment, and even the entire time we were going back and forth about the repairs, never mentioned that they had not received my assessment payment. We were switching to a new HOA company in the new year, so I even confirmed with DelleValle that they had my correct contact info in one of these many phone calls. I did not find out about the overdue assessment until the new company took over.

    Hateful staff at times. Poor customer service. Lack of professionalism. Never rent or buy in a property that is managed by DellaValle Mgmt. You will spend your life frustrated.

Leela we’re very sorry for the confusion you have endured. By your HOA governing By Laws our hands were tied. The party responsible for repairing your damage is the unit owner above you that caused the leak to damage your unit. We offered the offending leak’s owner to repair the damages with our Handyman Services which they initially accepted; however, they never paid their deposit so we could not begin work. After many backs and fourths with you and the owner above you it was decided by the owner above you that they were going to bid the job with someone else ending our agreement to make the repairs to the damage their leak caused to your unit. At that point the matter was completely out of our hands. We as a Property Manager or as Handyman Services cannot force them to use our Handyman Services, they have the right to use whom they wish to make the repairs. Regarding your assessment, numerous correspondents were mailed to the address provided by you, and cross referenced with USPS COA list and PVA listings without any response. In addition to that, a Board Member of your HOA was in direct verbal conversations with you regarding the matter and confirming with us that you were aware of the matter. Still, there was no response from you. The phone correspondents we have on file were with the Handyman Services department about leak damage, this department does not operate in the Property Management side of the business and is not privy to your financial records therefore would not have knowledge of your assessments to have that conversation with you. At the time of passing management to your new property manager we sent one final notice to all residents regarding assessments and information on your new property manager with contact details and an address to remit HOA Dues and Assessment payments to ending our obligations to your HOA. We are always happy to work with property owners who are responsive no matter how unique the situation. We pride ourselves on finding solutions that are agreeable for all and really wish we could have been afforded the opportunity to work with you on your assessment.
