Bluegrass Plastic Surgery - Dr. Therese-Anne LeVan, M.D.

This was probably the best experience i could have had! Dr. LeVan was so caring and thorough. She was extremely accommodating to my medical anxiety and made sure i was cared for every minute through my in-office procedure. She was very detailed in her process, along with explaining to me what she was doing, how it would feel, and gave post op instructions that were very detailed. She and her nurse and staff are all around very delightful & caring people. Highly recommend to anyone who may have a medical fear or any anxieties. Will be returning!

There are so many plastic surgeons to choose from in Lexington, Dr. LeVan was that still took medical insurance (she no longer does) so I chose her. She did a decent job on my breast reduction but the after care was truly abhorrent. I asked for a refill on pain medication one week after surgery and her office treated me as if I were a drug addict. In extreme pain I emailed the office asking for a different medication as the one they prescribed was making me nauseous. After many emails, they  told me to bring in the medicine that made me ill. I was in BED! Dr. LeVan and her staff treated me terribly. With so many other surgeons (better rated) to choose from I would highly recommend using any one else. A doctor should listen to their patients needs and not make them feel like a criminal. I would never recommend this practice to anyone. Beware!

Dont go here. Dr. Clarke gave me symmastia and refused to admit her mistake. She made me wait for three hours for a consultation and gave no post op instructions. Now I will need corrective surgery from a real professional.

She a great physician, kind courtesy very detailed with my surgery.Bed side matter and followed up with me after I went home. The staff are great too. I have recommended family and friends and will go back in the future.

Absolute best experience I could have asked for. I was very nervous about the whole tummy-tuck procedure and I shouldn't have worried one bit. Dr. LeVan is such a caring and thorough surgeon and she doesn't treat you like just another patient. I am so happy my friend recommended her and you will not be disappointed if you decide to use her services. If I ever have any more procedures done, she is definitely who I will use.
