Today was my first time seeing Emily, and it was perfection! I have very long hair and I think a simple cut...but for some reason, many stylists seem to struggle with this. I chose Emily because her portfolio showed a familiarity with long hair, and she proved her knowledge and expertise instantly. She spent time with my hair before even shampooing and discussed how much she felt needed to go and how she would cut it to maximize movement and volume. During the shampoo she gave a wonderful scalp massage and she cut my hair quickly and efficiently, blew it dry beautifully , and ended the session with a neck and shoulder massage. My hair seriously hasn't looked this beautiful in years! She only took off a few inches, but she took years off my look. She is warm and inviting, and works to insure that everyone feels included and welcomed. I highly recommend Emily and feel confident that I have finally found a stylist I can trust!
