        I was concerned after reading reviews but had a great experience. My flight landed after midnight. I called in advance to make sure I would be able to pick up my reserved car after hours. I had no issues picking up my car upon arrival even though my flight was even slightly delayed. Not sure why everyone else is having issues but for me it was like any other quick and simple car rental experience.

        The line here is always 10+ deep with only one person working the counter, usual wait to pick up/drop off is 30+ minutes EVERY SINGLE DAY. It's ridiculous that Hertz leadership does not care enough for their customers that they would keep enough staff that they could service their clients in a reasonable amount of time. The 5 other rental companies at Bluegrass Airport rarely have a line more than 2 or 3 people but they also have their counters properly staffed. Do NOT rent from HERTZ or Dollar Rent a car if your time is important when traveling.

        Very friendly, generally good experience renting cars with Hertz but here, being a much smaller place, they have very good customer service. On one occasion I didn't reserve in time and it was Kentucky Derby week, and I couldn't find a car anywhere. Take your precaution!
