Shouldn't have to put a large retainer for bad services that you have not received yet. the rest of the world can't do that. They take charge of the case and did what they wanted, instead of listening to the clients request. They need to consult their client more with More options that are at hand. I want to believe that they are used to working FOR big insurance companies. not for the small guy. If someone hired me to build them a 2 story house and I thought it wasn't safe for them and I only gave them a 1 story house but expect them to pay me in full. that was my experience here. Never trust an attorney. Look at our government and all the litigation in our country. .

Amy Dewald was hired (not by my sister) to represent my sister during the process of her private adoption as the advocate for the birth mother. Before my sister signed the papers she started to have second thoughts and wasnt sure she wanted to go through with the adoption. Amy told her and myself that if my sister did not sign the papers that it is protocol that DCF investigates all failed adoptions, although there was no DCF involvement prior to what she had said. We have since confirmed through emails with an adoption case worker with DCF that they do NOT investigate failed private adoptions. When my sister emailed Amy to tell her she wanted to contest the adoption and was changing her mind, Amy informed her she had removed herself from representing my sister and could now be called as a witness against my sister. Unethical. Will be filing a complaint with the Office of Disciplinary Administrator.
