I would sure love to understand how it is that my son can be denied entry to his public school,based on his religious decision to not wear a mask, and Im still expected to pay property tax to support a school that doesnt allow us in. Seems like taxation without representation to me. I have spent over 18,000$ at private schools for my son since covid . Between being asked to not work for 3 months and being asked to pay a property tax to fund a public school my son is not allowed in has put me into financial difficulties. Is this what you all have planned up there? Have lived in Kansas 45 years and am appalled at not only the public school system but the people that run this state. Labeling people as unessential and denying children from public school over pseudoscience is shameful. Please respond as to how Taxation without representation is legal ,would love to hear.

Of course, how much I appreciate the Kansas legislature really depends on what kind of work they do. For example, for their 2022 session, they have done a great deal, such as the Value Them Both Amendment. Very much depends on the quality of the lawmakers.
