When you walk in, Mr. Adam Austin or another associate will measure your foot to see what size shoe you need. If you have wide feet, they will have shoes for you or they will order what will fit you and call you when it arrives. This is the only place I buy my shoes. I recently moved to KC and am SO glad I found this store. This was my second trip to this store. I came back because of the superior products and service I received the first time. I worked again with Makelle, who knows more about shoes, feet and arch support than I ever will. She measured BOTH feet and did an ink impression (see photos) to determine EXACTLY what kind of arch support I needed (free of charge) and then helped me select shoes that worked best for my feet. I was ordering my Birkenstocks and Dansko shoes on Amazon, for the same price, and getting no help in getting the right kind and size shoe. Makelle is so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Last time I was in another salesperson was helping an elderly gentlemen get shoes. The elderly man was just having a rough day and the salesperson was SO GOOD with him. He treated the elderly customer with such care and respect. I would highly recommend this store to anyone needing good shoes for an elderly person or any age. The selection is great and I have never had better shoe service anywhere else. Truly. I highly recommend Comfort Plus shoes in Leawood.

Both Rodney and Louis worked hard to analyze my husbands current foot problems and gave him several options for footwear that would give him the support and comfort he needs.

I stopped in to replace my almost 10-year-old pair of Birkenstocks (purchased here as well). Rodney assisted me in checking my shoe size since I couldn't remember what size my old ones were, and he gave me an overview of some of the new features the classic Birkenstocks have (new labeling, how tell if it is wide or narrow fit). It was a quick and friendly experience overall! Just wanted to give Rodney a shout out for his great service, and let others know that the team here is caring and knowledgeable. Don't hesitate to stop in if you need any type of comfort shoe.
